The following is only a recommendation and the lists are by no means comprehensive. Make sure to look at the weather forecast before the trip and come prepared for cold and wet weather. Please contact the event organiser, Sarah Chapman (profile), if you have any questions.
Sleeping at Night
At night it can get fairly cold. Make sure you have an adequate sleeping bag and we recommend bringing some pyjamas. We also recommend bringing a travel pillow for some added comfort. If you are a light sleeper, ear plugs are also sometimes useful. |

During the DayDuring the day you will most likely want to wear waterproofs as your outermost layer. There are club waterproofs available on board but you are welcome to bring your own. Underneath waterproofs people normally wear a base layer and jumper or fleece. Jeans are not recommended as they are hard to dry if they get wet. Make sure to bring some spare clothes in case you get wet. |

As well as club waterproofs, there are club waterproof boots available on board. When you're not wearing those we recommend walking boots, trainers, or shoes designed for sailing. Deck shoes are not ideal when it's cold and wet.
