This trip is going to be an adventurous one!
Leaving from Copenhagen we'll first head up to Aalborg. We can then choose how to tackle the Jutland penisula- either using the Limfjord channel, or heading further north around Skagen. We'll likely stopoff in the outer Netherlands, before making the final crossing to Eastern England. The trip will total ~700nm and will include plenty of watches and night sailing hours!
Jake is a very experienced skipper with RYA Offshore qualification. Jake has skippered several CUYC weekend trips and this will be his first year skippering a CUYC summer programme week.
Apart from the trip cost you pay when you sign up, there will also be expenses for food, marinas and diesel during the week. These will be sorted out on the trip via the Splitwise app, and usually come around to £100 depending on stops. You must also pay for your own transport to and from the handover marina.
See the "What to Bring" tab for the full list, but bring warm clothing, seasickness remedies if needed, sleeping bag, personal items, passport, and a spirit of adventure!
