Summer 25 - 06 Stockholm - Cruising in the Baltic

About the Trip

Hi all! Join me for a one-week cruising trip in and around Stockholm's Skärgård. We'll go island-hopping around the local archipelago, moor up in secluded coves, and soak up the Swedish midsummer scenery. Other than all of that enticing stuff, we'll make up the plan mostly as we go, based on what everyone wants to do each day. No major offshore passages are planned - just scenic coastal cruising and stopping wherever looks inviting. This trip is perfect for those who love relaxing on the water and enjoying good company! Expect some adventurous exploring, but with plenty of time for a drink in the long hours of evening sun.

Your Skipper: Florence Singer

Hi, I’m Florence, I’ll be your skipper for this trip!

I joined CUYC a few years ago while I was a student, and was part of the racing team. I got my Yachtmaster Offshore certificate through the club, and have skippered several CUYC weekend trips since.

I've been sailing almost full-time ever since I graduated in 2023, both while working to completely rebuild my project boat, Eliza, and professionally in a number of locations, most recently as a yacht chef/first mate in the Bahamas, so you can be sure of some good meals if you choose to come on my trip!

I was a first mate for the summer programme in Norway a few years ago, but this will be my first year skippering. I really looking forward to it!

How much does it cost?

Apart from the trip cost you pay when you sign up, there will also be expenses for food, marinas and diesal during the week. These will be sorted out on the trip via the Splitwise app, and usually come around to £100. You must also pay for your own transport to and from the handover marina.
