Any Questions...?
Given the need to assemble the 2018/19 racing team, this weekend will prioritise junior members interested and able to contribute to the racing team.
Yes! Each crew has a qualified skipper and first mate so you can rest assured you are in safe hands.
Given the time of year, waterproofs and boots will most likely be needed. These are available from the club for a small additional cost.
We will coordinate some grocery shopping before arriving at the boat. Volunteers are welcome to propose meals to cook onboard. Please be sure to let your skipper know what you love and hate before you come on-board. You'll get the chance to get creative in the galley and craft gourmet meals at sea!
Our 40ft yacht Skylark sleeps 8 in 3 double cabins and two single berths. The berths are comfortable and the soothing waves of the sea will rock you to sleep! You'll just need to bring along a sleeping bag/sheet/pillow depending on the weather and your preferences.
The skipper will get in contact with everyone who is on the trip and will give you lots of helpful info. Please note that prices do not include transport to or from Ipswich marina. Transport will need to be coordinated in the week leading up the weekend.
