Cost: £60 + expenses ( around £80 in total) The time of wintery storms is coming to an end and tides are looking good for an adventurous passage to the south west so why not go to Belgium and see the picturesque old town of Bruges? The plan is to get to Ipswich in the early afternoon of Friday, March 12th and set sail for Zeebrugge. Arriving there on Saturday morning/afternoon we will go up a short inshore channel to moore up close to the historic centre of Bruges, have a quick nap and then explore the town's beautiful old streets and channels. After a delicious Belgian dinner we will set off again towards Ipswich aiming to arrive there on Sunday afternoon, pack up and be back in Cambridge Sunday night. While experienced sailor will certainly be excited by the prospects of this adventurous passage including night sailing and the obligatory watch system, newbees are just as welcome: For this trip keeness and adventurous spirit are more important than experience! If you have any questions, please do not hestitate to drop either me or Hywel an email. We are very much looking forward to hearing from you! Hywel (Skipper) & Nikolaus (1st Mate)
