This is to be a fun and relaxed trip, ideal for beginners. However, while delicious food is pivotal we won't skimp on the sailing. Staying on mooring buoys will allow us to make a quick getaway on both mornings, leaving lots of time out on the water.
Leaving relatively late on Friday evening, we'll pootle down the Orwell, have dinner and break open a polypin of Milton Brewery's finest.
On Saturday morning we'll get some bacon on the stove and bread in the oven as we drop the buoy and head down the coast for a few hours to a suitably quiet and picturesque backwater (destination to be decided based on wind, tide and whether or not the crew want to see seals). There we can relax with a G&T as we cook a fabulous dinner in the galley. Naturally the beer will need finishing too.
This trip is ideal for novices and expereinced sailors alike. If you have any questions don't hesitate to email Alex Cowan (alex@cuyc.org.uk)

A dolphin playing with Kestrel on the Bruges trip -- maybe we'll get a repeat performance?
